In recent years she made her off-Broadway debut with her one-woman solo show, Whatta Gal!, at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre in New York City and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.

Cabaret & Music
Her music career in New York has developed into its own unique form, as she began performing as a downtown cabaret comedian in 2018. Most notably under her belt was her weekly comedy cabaret showcase at Alan Cumming’s cabaret bar, Club Cumming. In 2025, her career took on a more mature tone as she began a more refined course of study as part of Hunter College’s Bachelor of Arts music program with a focus on classical voice.
She is a student of operatic soprano Karen Nimereala, who studied with famed tenor Franco Corelli for 20 years in the Italian mountains and is an alumni of the Juilliard School. Her soprano repertoire spans from Schumann to Bellini to Mozart, and she is proficient in performing in Italian and Spanish. She has a soft spot for Amy Winehouse and Maria Callas.
Lourdés hopes to continue broadening her studies as she brings the highest values of operatic art to a modern audience.
Film
Her first documentary short Anatomy of a Showgirl, which takes a look into a year of her life as a cabaret comedian, is now streaming online. Lourdés tells stories centered on women’s interior worlds, merging glamour and surrealism to reimagine myth and tragedy through a feminine lens.
